12ft Beach Fishing Combo Bait Fishing Shimano Baitrunner and Beefstick

The reason behind this combo being a bait fishing combo for the beach and not a lure combo is it comes spooled with Platypus Monofillament, or (mono line). The advantage of mono line off the beach when fishing bait is when you get weed drifting down the beach and geting caught in your line mono is much more resistant to getting tangloed up in it and braid will tend to wrap up and get damaged. Another advantage is if you do get busted off or tangled it is only one knot to the swivel before your leader instead of having to tie joining knots. The Combo comes with a bullet proof Shimano Baitrunner 1200OC fully spooled with 30lb Platypus Monofilament. The Shimano Baitrunner having the baitrunner option is very handy off the beach as you can set the baitrunner so if you get a big fish take your bait it doesnt drag the rod and reel into the water with it. The rod is a Daiwa Beefstick 1203XHS SURF and is a good rod for beach and rock fishing, being 12ft it is still manageable but the 12ft version of this combo will be a bit easier to handle. The Beefstick is a very strong rod that won't break on you. This Combo is suited for Tailor, Salmon and Jewfish.
