15kg Gamefishing Combo Shimano Talica 25 and Fishfinder Custom Series

This light gamefishing combo is extremely versatile, it can be used for trolling for both Marlin and Tuna, Switchbaiting and Skipbaiting. Using 15kg for Marlin and Tuna can give you an advantage as it allows you to run lighter gauge hooks and lighter leaders which will increase both your strike and hookup rate. The lighter hooks can be very helpful when chasing Stripes and Inshore Blacks as these fish are notorious for missing strikes and pulling hooks. The Custom Fishfinder rods are purpose built for our store, they have a lovely soft tip but they load up quickly in the butt giving you optimal power over fish. The Shimano Talica is a very solid overhead reel, it has modern components and is extremely resistent to saltwater and debris, the Talica has a 2 speed function which means that if your fish is sitting deep below the boat you can switch the reel into low gear and get more winding power.
