2023 Daiwa TD Black and Shimano Stradic Combo

This combo is a good allround for Bream, Flathead and Jewfish in Harbours and Estuaries. The Daiwa TD Black 23 is one of Daiwa's latest releases and are another very good bang for buck rod. This rod has a 1-3kg rating and a cast weight of up to 6g making it a good choice if you like fishing out to depths like 10m and is certainly light enough to cast around the inshore bommies, reefs and harbours. The reel is the Shimano Stradic FM, we picked this reel as it is very light but still has ample drag, and strong enough to do any or the work you will need it to do. Ultimatley the ideal purpose of this combo is throwing small to medium sized lures targeting estuary species, the fast taper and responsive blank of the TD Black rods will keep the angler in contact with their lure regardless of if it is casted out or dropped below on the boat. Once the fish is hooked the solid backbone that the Tatula rods are built on will help you turn fish away from structure. The combo comes spooled with Daiwa J Braid Expedition. This is Daiwas newest and most innovative braid release, it is extremely thin for how strong it is and has good knot tying properties.
