This medium offshore combo is the perfect allrounder and opens up the door for you to chase anything from Snapper, Jew and Pearlies on plastics, Longtail and Mac Tuna on the surface, medium sized Kingfish or even Mahi Mahi out wide. Despite its lightweight the Vanford is a bulletproof reel and can handle spray and being banged around in the boat. The Vanford also has a solid drag system which can handle the long screaming runs of a Longtail or big Kingfish. The Blade N Tails has an impressive backbone so dont be afraid to tie heavier leaders such as 80-100lbs and really lock up on big fish. The Blade N Tails also has a responsive tip which will help when you are flicking plastics, dropping lures like Baku Baku jigs or even dropping baits.
