Atomic Arrowz and Stradic Offshore Combo

This a quality yet affordable light, offshore all arounder combo. Best suited to casting lightly weighted plastics for Snapper, small metal slugs for Mackerel and Tuna, stickbaits for Mahi Mahi or surface lures for small to medium sized Kingfish. The Stradic FL is a smooth, reliable reel with a solid drag system which is essential when chasing pelagic species. The Stradic is sealed with X-Protect meaning that the reel can handle saltwater spray. The 2023 Atomic Arrowz offshore series use tangle free Fuji K-Guides reducing the amount of wind knots and guide wraps you will experience, helpful for when you are casting heavier weights such as stickbaits or metals. The rods have a strong backbone meaning you can really put some pressue on the larger fish, helping you steer fish away from the wrecks, reefs or fads they attempt to bust you off on. The setup is spooled with Daiwa's J-Braid x8, a thin and longcasting braid we feel is suited to this combo.

The Arrowz series of rods integrates the most advanced designs with the finest materials including Fuji components and full-graphite blanks. Designed in Australia, for Australian species and anglers, this is a series that’s designed for both bait and lure angling and features three ranges, estuary, offshore and barra. The Arrowz Estuary Series offers anglers four spin models to choose from ranging from the finesse special 70SUL rod designed for ultra light bait and lure fishing, to the heaviest model in the series, the 70ML with a maximum line rating of 14lb. The Arrowz Offshore Series features four different models, including the 70M, 70MH, 70H, and ultra work horse of the range, the 70X. All rods in the range are spin model in configuration, feature ultra-refined fore and rear neoprene grips, measure 7 feet in length. Within the Atomic Arrowz range there are also some very scecific models, the Atomic Arrowz Bream Surface has a blank specicically designed to work small top water Bream lures like the Bassday Sugapen, Atomic poppers, zipbaits Skinny pop and any other small surface lure that need a fast taper rod with a soft tip, the Atomic Arrowz range also has a Bream Crank model that has a slower taper that will throw small cranks like the Atomic Hardz and Jackal Chubby's, but is soft enough to ensure you wont pull out hooks or straighten trebbles.The Arrowz also have most models in both 1 and 2 piece. Heavier models in the Atomic Arrows range such as the Arrows AAS-270X is a great offshore rod with a very broad cast range that makes it suitable for fishing various sized Jig heads, with a Max cast weight of 80g you can fish heavy jigheads in deep water or when the current is ripping in close. The Atomic Arrows Estuary AAS-270L is a good allround estuary rod as the nae suggests and will suit and 2000 or 2500 and cast all small harbody cranks and soft plastics. Featuring one spin and two baitcaster rods in the range, and with neoprene fore and cork rear grips, the Atomic Arrowz Barra Series is suited to life in the tropical estuaries, or muscling fish on the lakes.

MICROMODULE II 
Light and Smooth Reeling Micromodule gear II has evolved with the most advanced tooth surface design to create the ideal gear tooth shape. This reduces noise and creates smooth reeling.

Seamless Gear Engagement From the fundamental, whole body design to the most intricate parts of the drive train, including the drive gear, wormshaft, wormshaft pin and wormshaft gear, every piece has been carefully reviewed, and the smallest clearance gaps and wobbles have been eliminated to the highest tolerances.  

X-PROTECT 
Superior Saltwater Resistance By combining the internal water repellent and the labyrinth structure, it achieves performance that can repel water without losing the lightness of rotation. This features in the line roller section and the roller clutch assembly (anti-reverse). As a result, the durability of the line roller has been improved more than five times (compared to our conventional product).

HAGANE GEAR

G FREE BODY 
G Free technology has been developed to shift the reel’s centre of gravity closer to the rod. Having the centre of gravity closer to an anglers hand position, we reduce fatigue and enhance casting distance.

NEW BAIL DESIGN 
Providing a smooth feeling at the time of opening to make a cast. A wide opening and closing angle improves cast feathering.  It also prevents sudden bail return.

LOW FRICTION ROLLER CLUTCH 
The NEW Stradic is equipped with a low friction and compact roller clutch. Resistance is reduced and the rotation is lighter than the conventional model.

DRAG WASHER SELECTION 
Sizes 2500 and below use 1 set felt drag washer system and the C3000 sizes above use a higher grade 3 set cross carbon washer system with excellent wear resistance.

LONG STROKE SPOOL
The long stroke spool design improves casting performance when compared to the previous model due to improved line flow from the spool.
