Using a BFS style baitcast combo is a very unique way to fish, it gives you many advantages as you get the casting accuracy of a baitcast combo but you can still cast ultra light lures which isnt possible on traditional baitcast reels. If you are targeting Aussie Bass a BFS combo will revolutionize your fishing, Bass love micro lures like the Nano Siglett and unewighted plastics, you'll be casting these ultra finesse lures deep into snags with no issue using a BFS combo. Additionally in the salt you will be able to cast little crankbaits and surface lures smaller than 50mm for species such as Bream, Whiting, Flathead and Tailor. We like to spool these combos with fluorocarbon mainline, as it casts better with the ultra-light spool and is less visible in the water.
