This combo is a great combo for the beginner soft plastic fisherman or someone who only goes once in a blue moon but still wants a combo that will perform.
It has Daiwa Laguna LT 2500 reel that will come spooled with Daiwa J Braid 8 strand to ensure you get the most distance out of the combo. The rod is the Daiwa Aird X 702LXS. It has a 2-10g cast weight so you can use anything from a Squidgie Fish or Berkley Gulp Crabby with a hidden weight to a Daiwa Double Clutch and it will cast them no problem. When chasing Bream on soft plastics we recommend using as light a leader as possible, we like to use Daiwa J Thread but any good quality fluorocarbon leader will do so long as it is 6lb or less.
