A great combo to get started into lure fishing and still good enough for the experienced fisherman to enjoy using, the combo comes with a quality Daiwa 21 freams 2000 reel. This reel is one of Daiwa' newest release LT range reels. The Rod is a Shimano Raider 722 1-4kg Perfect for casting those smaller plastics. surface walking lures like sugapen and slipery dog, small poppers for whiting, This rod will also double up for Trout fishing being able to cast those light lures. The Raider is also a perfect rod if you want to do some light bait fishing whether that be lightly weighted prawns off of the wharf for Bream or Powerbait eggs in the Dam for Trout. The rod is a two piece so will fold away for storage and travel. The reel comes spooled with quality Daiwa J Braid X4 150m Yellow in 6lb, a great quality long casting line to get you that extra distance.

The Rod

The iconic Raider series – Shimano's most comprehensive rod range – has continuously lifted the benchmark for performance and value. The latest line-up has been upgraded to 30T graphite blanks for improved strength and a responsive, lightweight, and crisp feel. Additionally, the guides have been upgraded to Fuji's single-foot FazLite K guides for further weight reduction and responsiveness. The Raider range is fitted with custom Shimano reel seats, a mix of split and full-length custom cork grips and eye-catching cosmetics.
