This is a well balanced squdding combo perfect for ocean rocks and squidding inside of the harbour. The longer length of the Emeraldas 832 will help you send out squid jigs nice and far as well as giving you a nice slow loadup when hooked up, this absorbs pressure and reduces the likelyhood of pulling hooks. The Emeraldas X 2500 is ultra lightweight and has a smooth drag system. This combo is ideal for throwing jigs as big as size 3.5, and can even use 1.5 sized Yamashita jigs on a paternoster rig
