Daiwa J Braid X4 is one of the best Value lines on the market, Being a 4 carrier Braid it is not as smooth as J BRaid X8 or J Braid Grand so is not as ideal for casting, although in saying that it still casts good, at Ottos we use the X4 on a lot of jigging and deep dropping combos as the J Braid X4 is a very tough and long lasting line. And if you are only droppin then there is little point of using a good casting line.
