The Daiwa Legalis and TT Red Belly is an awesome entry level estuary lure fishing combo, ideal for casting light topwater lures, crankbaits, plastics and vibes for fish like Flathead and Bream. The graphite blank of the TT rod means its ultra-responsive, ideal for lure fishing. It loads up quite nicely and has alot of strength down low so if you hook a Mulloway or hard fighting pelagic you wont be too undergunned. The Daiwa Legalis weighs very little and has a smooth drag, two essentials for a light lure fishing reel. We chose J-Braid x8 for this combo as braid is essential for lure fishing and J-Braid x8 is very thin and ultra smooth, complimenting the finesse elements of this combo
