Two of Daiwa’s premier blank wrapping technologies, X45 and 3DX, work seamlessly together to improve rod performance, and eliminate blank twist and distortion to increases rod strength, function, and sensitivity. By eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form, X45 and Bias Wrap allows a lighter a small diameter blank to be made, and lighter more dynamic rod to be created. 3DX continues the advanced blank design with its three-dimensional woven process adding support to the lower power section of the rod. By knitting densely packed carbon fibres in 3 directions to create a six wrap rectangular weave, the power is distributed evenly in all directions, allowing the blank to maintain its form when loaded. This process increases the power and eliminates blank twist and collapse, and allows the rod’s power to be located at the lower section of the blank for maximum power and a reduction in angler fatigue. The lightest rods in the Saltiga range are the Daiwa Saltiga J63MLS and the Saltiga C71MLS, the difference between these two models is the length, the Saltiga C71MLS is the better rod if you like to cast a lure around and the Saltiga J63MLS is more dedicated to light jigging and is a great rod for working a variety of Micro Jigs such as the Maria Explorer Jigs and Palms Jigs and are matched Perfectly with the Daiwa Saltiga 4500 and 4500H. 

 The Daiwa Saltiga rods have an awesome 2.5/4 PE rod, the J62MS. The Saltiga J62MS is heavy enough to fish deeper water but still not so heavy you will not have fun on smaller species and makes a great inshore rod. The Daiwa Saltiga J56XHS in PE 5-6 and has a 120-300g jig weight making at a great Jigging rod for fishing most deep reefs right around Australia for Kingfish, Amberkacks and bait fishing for all the other species that live on deeper reefs and these Saltigas are Perfectly matched with the Daiwa Saltiga 5000. 

The heaviest in the Saltiga Jigging range is the Salitiga J55XXHSDF that is brutal on fish, the J55XXHSDF is a Straight PE 8 meaning you can run 80lb through it at full drag without an issue. The Saltiga J55XXHSDF has a 250 - 400 gm jig rating so is good for jigging deep water for big fish especially when the wind and current are up and you need heavy jigs in order to get down to the fish, These Saltiga rods are perfectly matched with the Daiwa Saltiga 6500.

The Daiwa Saltiga range has always had a heavy focus on casting rods too, The casting rods in Saltiga range are works of art, they fold away beautifully when loaded up putting the pressure on the fish, not your back. The lightest in the range of Casting rods in the Daiwa Saliga range is the C80MS and is an awesome light sickbaiting and heavy soft plastic rod. The next in the range is the Saltiga C71MLS and is a PE 3, it will cast stickbaits from 15-45 grams but does not have as much range as the Saltiga 80MS as it is shorter, it makes a good boat rod for inshore plastics too. The Saltiga C74MHS is a PE 2-4 so has a bit more grunt down low and is a good rod if you are targeting species that want to run you into the reef and must be stopped. These rods are matched perfectly with the Daiwa Saltiga 5000 and 5000H.

The two heaviest in the Daiwa Saltiga range are the Saltiga C82HS and the Saltiga  C83XHSDF. The C82HS is a good general Medium Stickbait and Light popping rod for fishing reefs and bommies and being 8'2'' has a good length so you can cast at the structure without getting close and spooking the fish and is matched with the Daiwa Saltiga 6500 and 6500H. The Daiwa Saltiga C83XHSDF is the heaviest of all the Saltiga Popping rods and is a PE 10, It is designed for casting big poppers p to 300grams and has the power to stop the biggest GT's on the reef, but being a Saltiga still has a very light Physical weight in your hand, The Saltiga C83XHSDF is perfectly matched with the Daiwa Saltiga Dogfight 8000 and 8000H.
