The Daiwa Saltiga IC 300 uses 'intelligent counter' technology, revolutionising how we target fish in deep water. Using IC reels line counting ability in conjunction with a powerful sounder you can confidently place your bait or jig next to schools of baitfish or big marks on your sounder. The Saltiga is a rigid, strong reel and can withstand heavy saltwater usage, it has a low profile frame which reduces weight and allows the reel to sit comfortably in the hand. Daiwas DB Solid slowjig rods are built to make slowjigging an easier task, the slim butt configuration means the combo can be used under the shoulder comfortably and the Fuji spiral guides minimises friction as the line isnt able to come into contact with the blank. The combo is spooled with 500 yards of x8 PowerPro, a strong and abrasion resistant braid ideal for fishing deeper waters.

SALTIGA IC 300 is a new intelligent control overhead with line counter and retrieve speed function on the conveniently placed LCD display on the top of the frame.

Designed to maximise anglers efficiency on the water when targetting bottom dwelling species that often suspend off the bottom such as snapper and pearl perch. Saltiga’s line counter system enables precise lure control to maximise your time in the strike zone.

Full HYPERDRIVE DESIGN concept has been utilised in SALTIGA IC 300 and you’ll instantly feel the benefits of the newly designed HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR. A new gear design which greatly increases gear durability and ease of winding under load.

10kg of ATD drag is perfectly suited to the PE2- 3 line class that is recommended for this reel. A powerful single handle with alloy ball knob gives a sturdy feel when reeling and fighting powerful fish.

A waterproof battery housing on the palming side of the reel powers the LCD display and line counter module, this can be replaced easily once depleted.

DAIWA DB SOLID OVERHEAD FISHING ROD

DB Solid is the first Daiwa jigging rod to feature a solid carbon blank design, delivering an incredibly thin yet deceivingly powerful action. DB Solid is crafted around a 24Ton solid carbon blank. Daiwa engineers then wrap the solid carbon with 30Ton graphite cloth to further strengthen the blank and give the desired action.

The Daiwa DB Solid rods have a slow taper like suited perfectly to Slow Jigging, the Daiwa DB Solid Overhead Rods have an extra long butt, this means you can get it under your arm, comfortable while fighting a fish or Jigging. The DB Solid rods are also a tough rod, that you cangive hell withouit worrying about it. The parabolic bend protects the angler, allowing comfort and control even under heavy drag settings. The solid carbon blank is responsive, rebounding quickly to gain maximum action out of slow fall style jigs.
