Daiwa Saltist LW 30 & Penn Ocean Assassin II 621M General Purpose Overhead Fishing Combo

This is a great all-purpose combo to take with you on the boat, it doesnt matter if you are bottom bashing, jigging, trolling or using livebaits this versatile combo allows you to partake in all kinds of methods to catch fish. The Saltist LW is a great overhead reel, its light in the hand and extremley smooth but most importantly it has a silky smooth drag and great sealing against saltwater. The line guide on the Saltist LW will keep you linelay perfect and means you dont need to worry about guiding the braid with your thumb. The Penn Ocean Assassin has a soft tip which is essential for jigging and bottom bashing, yet still has alot of strength in the lower half allowing you to really make use of the 7kgs of drag the Saltist has. This combo comes with Daiwa J-Briad x8, a smooth and strong braid great for offshore fishing. Coloour changing braid is helpful for jigging and bottom bashing as you can keep track of where your lure/bait is sitting in the water column.
