Daiwa Tanacom 1000 Combo Tanacom X 54XHST (Swivel Tip) Deep Drop

This combo is the best all rounder and value on the market when it comes to Deep Dropping, the Tanacom X rod is a bullet proof rod that wont let you down, and the swivel tip makes it very easy to fish the rod in the rod holder without worrying about tip wraps, but keep in mind to keep the Swivel tip maintained so it does its job properly. The 5'6'' rod is the better choice for starting off in deep dropping as it is a lot more managable. The Reel is the Tanacom 1000, the Tanacom 1000 is still made in Japan and one of Daiwa's longest ranging electic reels. The Tanacom 1000 has an impressive 22kg of drag that will help muscle big ooglies from the depths. The reel will come spooled with 80lb Daiwa J Braid X4 it is a braid we use on all our deep drop combos due to its abrasion resistance and longevity.

The Tanacom, available in 3 sizes, is a 12-Volt powered Dendoh reel that is smaller, lighter and easier to use compared to other electrics. Its sleek, lightweight design, houses a powerful and high-performance electric system, boasting a massive continuous (70 kg max. instant winding power) winding power and a retrieval rate of up to 130m per minute! With Daiwa's exclusive Power Lever for instant control of winding speed and power, the Tanacom's digital readout automatically displays line let out, as well as distance retrieved from the bottom, so you know the depth of your offering at all times.

Like all of Daiwa's electrics, upon retrieve, the programmable Auto-Stop ensures that the winding stops at its designated length. The automated jigging function can be set to automatically work a lure or bait according to your programmed specifications.
