Using a 37kg combo is great if you are fishing for Tuna or Blue Marlin, the extra pressure you can put on the fish can be the difference between an good fight or a grueling long fight, better for both the fish and angler alike! The Tiagra 50WLRSA has a wider face than the 50W, can fit more line and run more drag, we chose to spool this combo with a braid backing which allows you to fit even more line on the reel. If you were to fish straight 37kg mono for Tuna / Marlin you would need to use the much bulkier 80W Tiagra. Since this combo runs the smaller reel you'll be able to fish stand up or switchbait with this combo. The 37kg Fishfinder custom rod has a very strong backbone, meaning you'll still be able to put pressure on fish when they are down deep. These rods are built in Sydney with quality components and Sabre Blanks, the straight butt 37kg model works great as a standup Tuna setup.
