Lox QX10 Surf / Rock Spinning Fishing Rods

This is an awesome rod for spinning off of the rocks with mid-sized metal slugs, stickbaits or poppers. Its length combined with its fast taper means you will be able to shoot lures out a mile, covering more ground and resulting in more fish. The rod has a strong backbone and will have no issue lifting up smaller pelagics such as Bonito or small Salmon onto a ledge. The QX is equipped with great compontents such as anti tangle Fuji K-Guides and a Fuji reel seat. We suggest pairing this rod with a 5000 or 6000 sized spin reel.

The longer and heavier 12ft 8-20kg Lox QX was designed as a surf rod, able to send out baits and lures well beyond the breakers and deep into gutters. The QX 20kg will also make a good livebait rod for those fishing off of rock platforms or breakwalls as you'll be able to run heavier line and the extra length will keep your line away from the rocks. We recommend running an 8000 or 10000 sized spin reel on this rod.
