This is the heaviest rod in the Saltist V2 Slow Jig range and is the best choice if you are fishing deep reefs for big fish as the PE4 will give you the strength and stopping power needed to turn their heads so they cant bust you off on the bottom. The rod can take jigs up to 400g and is rated from 160-400g but will still work smaller jigs making it great for fishing in tougher conditions when the extra jig weight is needed to get the bottom in water from 80-200m. The reel is the Daiwa Tierra 6000 LT and is a light weight reel with a full metal body, has ample drag and comes with Daiwa Australia 5 year warranty.
