The Millerods Stickee 862 is the very latest in topwater lure-casting rods. Meticulously designed to deliver maximum casting distance while requiring minimum effort to fish!

The Stickee is fine-tuned to achieve casting distance which can be so important when chasing pelagic fish on topwater lures. The school can bust up on bait then be gone before the boat gets close. The 8’6” length provides the best prospect to present a stickbait at a distance when the opportunity arises!

This rod is entirely Aussie designed with local baitfish in mind and will cast slightly smaller and lighter stickbaits than many conventional topwater rods. This allows you to 'match the hatch' when it comes to the finicky feeding habits of bluefin and yellowfin tuna!

And the guide train of Fuji ‘Slim Ring’ SiC ceramics further enhances this distance through smooth line flow at high speed. Sizes and frame shapes have been individually selected via our exhaustive cast testing to minimise friction and eliminate frame contact.

But don’t be fooled that the length will make hard work of fighting fish! The action of the Stickee is specifically designed to fold away under load, leaving the angler with a shorter lever to work against. It is beautifully smooth all the way to the maximum 12kg of drag!

The blank construction is from the new X5 material, which utilises nano resin technology with multi-directional fibres. The result on this specific rod model is lighter weight and enhanced balance, along with enhanced strength.

The Millerods Pirate has a history as a custom-made Millerod for anglers travelling to take on the hardest fighting pelagics of our tropical oceans. These anglers returned with stories of great captures – and interesting to Ian, recounts of how their fishing guides always wanted to use their new custom rod!

Designed to be versatile and easy to fish yet capable of besting both toothy speedsters and stubborn GTs alike, it was no wonder that professional saltwater guides recognised a special fishing rod when they came across this one.

Now updated and upgraded, this new version has become the ‘Pirate’ and the first of an exciting new range of offshore lure casting rods we call the 'Sea Breed'. Rods for tuna, mackerel, trevally and others.

The Pirate 772XH is as versatile as they come. The powerful action will cast a huge range of lures and has enough tip power for popping. The 7’7” length is capable of good casting distance, yet not too long to be tiring to use.

The blank construction is from graphites blended specifically for this model that provide a well-balanced high-performance tool that is also robust.

The 2pc blank construction with removable handle means that transport and storage is extremely easy with a packed length of only 1.7m.

Fitted with x-hard Camoufish EVA that’s custom shaped for fish fighting the rear grip is also shaped to be compatible with rod holders. The Fuji pipe reel seat has the LD extended locking hood, and alloy extension to ensure all reels can be easily fitted, and the Fuji BRC butt cap is as comfortable as always.
