This combo is perfect for the experienced angler who fishes hard and truly puts the quality of their gear to the test. This combo is very heavy for a jig combo and is ideal for chasing larger fish such as Dogtooth Tuna, big Kingfish, Amberjack and Samson fish. When fishing for big fish under heavy pressure it is important to have an open faced overhead reel in contrast to a low profile baitcaster with a line guide as it reduces the angle of which line is pulled against itself in the reel, meaing the braid wont dig into itself. Penn are renouned for their reels abilty to take on saltwater and the Fathom is no exeption, its stainless steel body and ball bearings keep away corosion.

Crafted by decades of on the water experience the Offshore range features Japanese Toray Carbon blanks featuring our Helix30T system. The Helix30T blank utilizes the latest in 30 Tonne Toray and precise carbon wrapping construction. This process achieves increased sensitivity, strength and blank responsiveness, giving the angler a better fishing experience.  Finished with Fuji Alconite K guides and Fuji GM winch mount.
