Okuma Barbarian Blackfish Spin Rods
Okuma's patented UFR technology in the tip section of the blank gives these rods the sensitivity and feel of a solid glass tip rod, with the benefit of reduced weight and increased strength, durability and lifting power in the tip, up to three times that of a standard rod blank.
The Two Models Selacted for blackfish are the 1162-NT and the 1062-NT, they are both 2-6kg rods. The 1162 is the choic if fishing off the rocks, and the 1062 for estuary but still ok to fish with off the rocks. Both Models have nibble tips giving yhou sensitivity but both have quite a good amount of grunt down the blank for poling fish up out of the water.
