This combo is made with the Penn Prevail 10ft 24kg and Shimano Tyrnos 30, the Assassin 12'6'' drone rod is a heavy 24kg overhead rod designed for big specimens, the reason behind the length of the rod is when you have so much line out under the pressure of a large fish any friction when line touches the sea bottom will cause you to loose a fish.
