Penn International 50 & Shimano Speedmaster 37kg Game Fishing Combo

Using a 37kg combo is great if you are fishing for Tuna or Blue Marlin, the extra pressure you can put on the fish can be the difference between a 15 minute fight and a 2 hour long fight, better for both the fish and angler alike! The Penn International 50 is an incredibly tough overhead reel, it is well sealed against saltwater and has a smooth drag system even under extreme load. The International can fit plenty of line and run heavy drag, we chose to spool this combo with a braid backing which allows you to fit even more line on the reel. If you were to fish straight 37kg mono for Tuna / Marlin you would need to use the much bulkier 80W reel. Since this combo runs the smaller reel you'll be able to fish stand up or switchbait with this combo. The 37kg Speedmaster rod has a very strong backbone, meaning you'll still be able to put pressure on fish when they are down deep, it also has a roller tip and textured foregrip for comfort.
