This rod is designed to be paired with an electric reel to tow a dredge or teaser behind the boat when Marlin Fishing. Once a Marlin surfaces behind the boat you can quickly bring in your dredge / teaser with the electric reel. This method is intended for skipbaiting and livebaiting for Marlin.
