The Penn Slammer III and Daiwa Saltist Hyper Medium Kingfish Combo is the perfect midrange combo for boat and landbased fishing. It has a regular action in the tip perfect for casting and working sinking and floating stickbaits and small cup poppers for kingfish and other pelagic species, and heaps of power down low where it counts for fighting big fish. The reel comes spooled with Daiwa J Braid x8 Multi 50lb 300m which is a super-strong, smooth, and abrasion-resistant line which is ideal when fishing for kingfish around heavy structure.
