This combo is a great entry level beach fishing rod for for bait fishing for Tailor, Salmon and Jewfish from the beach and Kingfish from the rocks. The Daiwa Sensor surf will cast lures from 60-150g which covers many of the best working Rapala Long Cast lures and Storm So Run lures. Being 11ft long it it helps keep the line above the shore break, and you can keep your distance from the waters edge when rock fishing. Being a graphite rod makes the combo light weight so unlike fibreglass rods that are heavy you can comfortably hold it all day with no issue.
