This combo is a great entry level beach fishing rod for for bait fishing for Tailor, Salmon and Jewfish from the beach and Kingfish from the rocks. The Daiwa Sensor surf will cast lures from 10-60g wich covers many of the best working Rapala Long Cast lures and Storm So Run lures. Being over 9ft it it helps keep the line above the shore break, and you can keep your distance from the waters edge when rock fishing. Being a graphite rod makes the combo light weight so unlike fibreglass rods that are heavy you can comfortably hold it all day with no issue.

DAIWA 20 SENSOR WAVE SPINNING SURF FISHING ROD

Sensor Wave combines Japanese shore-jigging pedigree with Australian surf fishing culture to bring a brand-new series to anglers searching for affordable land-based action. Built around a BRAIDING-X blank, Sensor Wave rods are deceptively lightweight. The first three models in the series are the shore-jigging specialists. The use of BRAIDING-X on the butt sections of Sensor Wave allows for an overall smaller blank diameter, which when stretching lengths out to 15’0” can make quite a difference to the rod's overall balance and feel when in use. Outfitted with Fuji’s Corrosion Control (CC) ‘O’ ring guides, the Sensor Wave rods are built to last and built to fish, where the treacherous coast is no place for inferior equipment.

Live liner system has 4 on potions which progressively increase the rear drag when needed. Factory matched settings have been applied for each size reel and can be user adjusted to the anglers preference with the included tool. With the turn of the handle, the live liner is automatically disengaged and back in fighting mode
