Shimano Marlin and Tuna Combo, Talica 50 And Shimano 5080 Switchbait Rod

This combo is the ducks nutz if you want a Physically light combo with almost 1000m of line, the Talica 50 is designed for braid and so is the Shimano 5080 Switchbait rod, the Switchbait rods do not have any rollers to avoid braid becoming lodged between the rollers and frame a common problem when not using correct rollers with braid. The combo is designed for all styles of Tuna and Marlin fishing. The Shimano Talica reels are a narrower spool reel and smaller compared to Tiagras and Tyrnos reels of the same line class, this also makes them much easier to fish with, and are ideal combos as you can fish them under your arm or with a standard size Gimble with more ease then 50W reels as the narrower spool does not want to roll as much. The combo will be backed up with high quality 80lb 4 Carrier Power Pro Braid, the reason being that 4 carrier braids are a lot more durrable, long lasting and abbrasion ressistant. The combo will also come with a Top shot already Tied on and ready to fish, the top shot we use is 150m of Momoi IGFA 37kg Mono, tied on by a PR or FG knot,
