Shimano Borderless & Penn Spinfisher Rockfishing Blackfish Combo

This Telescopic Blackfish combo is the perfect blend of convenience and quality. Ideal for roadtrips, long walks to the ledge or just the comfort of not having a large, inconvenient fishing rod in the car! The Borderless BB extends to 15ft long, this extra length will give you an advantage when rockfishing as you'll have more leverage over the fish when trying to land them. The Borderless has a soft and forgiving tip which is ideal for Blackfish as you will be using little hooks which are prone to pulling from the fishes mouth. The 460MHT model has a bit more power than the other models which will help when landing fish, as well as if you happen to hook into a Drummer or Surgeonfish. We chose the Penn Spinfisher for this combo as it is very well sealed, therefore saltwater and sand will have a hard time getting into the reel, this is especially important when rockfishing as you gear is more exposed.
