Shimano Staaten Spinning Fishing Rods

Named after one of Australia’s most ruggedly beautiful and remote barramundi rivers that empties into the Gulf of Carpentaria, the new Shimano Staaten rod range consists of 10 models: six baitcast and four spin. All the rods in this no-nonsense family are medium heavy to extra heavy, covering suggested line strengths from 4 to 12 kilos and casting weights up to a hefty 130 grams. Constructed on pure carbon Super X blanks and fitted with genuine Fuji guides and Custom Carbon Reel seats. The new Shimano Staaten rods also carry Custom EVA and AAA cork inlay grips. They feature dark grey gloss blanks and dark bindings with under-stated trims and very classy cosmetics throughout.
