Shimano Stella SW D & Grappler PE6 Topwater Fishing Combo

If you are heading to the tropics and want to throw stickbaits, poppers and diving poppers at GT and oversized Reefies the PE6 Stella and Grappler Type C is the combo for you. The Grappler Type C is considered an all rounder topwater rod, meaniong the its stiff enough to work large faced poppers with ease. Yet, it has enought movment and feel in the tip to get optimal action out of your floating stickbaits and diving poppers. The Stella SW D 14000XG is Shimano's flagship spin reel, packed with all the tech to ensure it lasts and wont let you down on even the biggest fish. The XG model is great for topwater fishing as you can bring in line at a faster rate, this makes working your lures easier. We suggest using PE6 if you are fishing for GT and larger reef fish. This combo is also a great option if you are chasing Yellowtail Kingfish or Spanish Mackerel. We chose Sufix 832 braid for this combo as it is casts very well and has great abrasion resistance.
