This is a high quality light baitcast combo ideal for fishing Australian fresh and saltwater applications, this setup is suited to catching natives such as Bass, Yellowbelly, Perch and small Cod as well as saltwater fish like Bream, Flathead and Trevally. The Alphas is very light, coming in at 160grams, it has a shallow spool which has a braking system which lets the angler throw both light and heavy lures. The light T-Curve baitcast models are very responsive and have a strong backbone meaning you will be able to land suprisingly large fish on the combo despite how light it is rated to. This setup comes spooled with Shimano PowerPro braid a strong, longcasting braid used by the staff at Ottos tackleworld.
