This is a quality 24kilo game combo, ideal for chasing Black, Stripe and Blue Marlin as well as Yellowfin Tuna. We chose the hardguide Shimano Tag-Em, allowing the angler to run a braid backing. Running a braid backing means you can use a smaller reel, far more comfortable to fight fish with. Also if you plan on switchbaiting, it is easier to cast these smaller Tiagra 30A's. The Tag-Em rod is new for 2025, built off quality blanks these rods are a great blend of quality and affordability.
