The Talica 12 is a compact overhead reel, its narrow spool makes it a great jigging reel. Dont be fooled by the small size, this reel has 20kg of drag meaning you can lock up past sunset and put the breaks on big fish heading towards structure. We opted for the 2 speed Talica for this combo, the low gear feature is helpful during prolonged fights and when the fish is sitting under the boat. The Talica Overhead Jigging rod has a soft enough tip to jig lures down to 150g but is powerful enough to handle the heavy drag settings of the Talica 12. It is built off of quality Fuji components designed to handle a beating.
