This combo has been put together for chasing grander (1000lb+) Marlin, Bluefin Tuna and Sharks. Using heavy tackle when gamefishing requires the angler to be seated in a game chair throughout the fight, hence why the Tiagra Hyper 60kg comes in at 7ft6, the extra length helps the line clear the stern of the boat. When chasing grander Marlin obviously the best of the best gear is required. We chose the Tiagra 130A for this combo as it one of the only reels big enought to run 60kg mono, and because of the unmatched reputation of Shimanos Tiagra reels.
