The Shimano Tiagra 20A & Speedmaster 10kg 6ft is a premium light gamefishing combo, compact enough to fish standup without a gimbal yet has the line capacity and power to bring in large fish. The Tiagra 20A has a narrow face, meaing it is easier to set an even linelay even when fish are charging the boat. Shimanos 10kg Speedmaster rod is made off of quality components and a strong lightweight blank. Fishing for marlin with light 10kg game outfits is a great way to increase your capture rate, using 10kg allows you to use thin gauge hooks on your skirts or livebaits which increases your hookup and landing rate.
