This 24kg trolling combo is a great all-rounder heavy enough to chase larger Tuna and Blue Marlin, yet it can still be fished as a standup combo for inshore Blacks or Stripe Marlin. The Tiagra Ultra has flush fitted roller guides, meaning they are braid friendly. We've spooled the Tiagra 30WLRSA with 1000m of 50lb braid backing and a 24kg topshot, the braid allows the angler to fish heavier line as they can fit more line on their reels. The Tiagra 30WLRSA has more drag than the 30W and more line capacity than the 30A, making it the perfect compact 24kg reel. Although put together for trolling you will be able to switchbait and livebait on this combo.
