This combo has been put together for chasing large gamefish such as Southern Bluefin and Blue Marlin. The Tiagra 80WA Is a workhorse reel, built tough to handle extreme loads over long periods of time. This reel has a two speed funciton and clips to attach an equalizer belt which makes fighting fish significantly easier. The Tiagra Hyper 37kg is fully rollered, we chose the straight butt model for this combo as it is easier to fish standup. This rod loads up slower than other game rods, reducing the pressure on the angler. We spooled this combo with 900m+ of 37kg IGFA MoMoi line, a strong and thin gamefishing line.
