Fish those nymphs with a bead head in faster water so they get down deep - fish them under an indicator. Look for the rough and tumble pocket water amongst boulders and drift a heavy nymph through the deeper holes. Sparkle dun and birds nest are fished when there’s a mayfly hatch on. The lightly weighted nymphs are fished in slower water and on lakes. Fish the scud slowly on the bottom in lakes. Bitch creek and Kaufman’s stone are great flies for bigger rivers.
