Berkley Braid Fishing Line

Berkley have long been making quality fishing tackle, line and Braid, Berkley revolutionised the fishing industry worldwide when they introduced FireLine fused PE Braid, and since this time Berkley have improved on the Original Fire line time and time again, The latest and greatest Fireline is the Fireline Ultra 8 Crystal, it is  a line that is incredibly strong and abrasion resistant yet long casting and user friendly and optimised for Spin reels. The Unique fusing process uses heat to molecularly bind thousands of Dyneema fibres gives Fireline Ultra 8 more body than regular braids and means that fireline will absorb a lot less water than most braids also giving it awesome cast ability.  Fireline Ultra 8 is 4 times more abrasion resistant than original Fireline and often regarded as the benchmark in toughness. The Ultra 8 stands up to structure such as mangroves, barnacles, reef and wrecks which means more fish in the boat and less time swearing. Fireline Ultra 8 is  Rounder and smoother than regular Fireline and casts 10% further than traditional Fireline.

Berkley have improved their braid again with the new Berkley X9 and Berkley X5, Berkley have gone beyond the traditional 8 carrier braid with their X9 by using their traditional fireline fused braid as a core within the weave of outer High Quality 100% PE fibres .

Berkley also make one of the thinnest lines on the market, Berkley whiplash, Berkley whiplash is a very good braid fro deepdropping due to it particularly thin diameter in the heavies poundages, but is also a great braid for heavy livebaiting and casting.
