Designed for jigging sabiki rigs when gathering bait, with the design allowing the rig to be wound inside the rod to minimise snagging and tangling when not in use, the Daiwa BG Telescopic Sabiki rod has been designed to be tucked away under the gunnel or cabin when not in use to minimise rods out in the open. The Sabiki rod is perfect for the she shorter length jigs with small to medium sized hooks. The combo comes with the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur ; featuring a level wind system allowing for east retireve without having to lay the line. This combo is spooled with multicolour braid so you can keep track of where your sabiki is in the water column .

Please note the Daiwa Sabiki Bait Jig rod will only fit up to a Hayabussa #14 Bait jig. Otto Recomends a Okuma Red Sabiki Rod if you would like to fish small jigs inshore.

With the multi disk drag system the Ambassadeur SX gives anglers a smooth, consistent reel that holds drag pressure across the entire drag range.

The synchronized level wind system improves overall line lay and castability, giving anglers a solid casting reel.

Other features include three stainless steel bearings plus one roller bearing, six pin centrifugal brake system and soft touch handles for a more comfortable grip.

The ergonomic, compact design of the Ambassadeur SX is available in a 5.3:1 gear ratio. The 5.3:1 gear ratio retrieve 62.5cm per turn.
