There are various methods of "jerk", but the one I use most often and produce the fishing results is "black panther jerk". It is a technique to make a fish interested in a jerk and eat it in a fall. It seems easy in words, but when entering the fall operation, the rod tip is lowered for a moment and the line slug is intentionally put out.
