Nomad and Daiwa Lexa TW Slow Pitch Overhead Jigging Combo 

A perfect combo to jig with with all day and is rated for jigs from 40-320g Jigs depending on the model rod. The reason being is you cannot hurt a rod fishing under the rating and still get action out of them as opposed to fishing jigs too heavy. The reel is the Daiwa Lexa TW series and is a power house little baitcaster with a Power Handle to match. The Nomad Overhead Slow Pitch Jigging rods are an extremely well built rod and will not fail you. The combo comes spooled with Daiwa X4 J Braid Multi, we choose this as the X4 braid is more wear resistant and has a longer life expectancy than 8 Carrier braids. The Lexa HSP has a slightly faster retreive making for a quicker retreive when bringing your lure back up to the surface. The H-P has a lower gear ratio (slower retreive) for more power fighting the fish, but not enough either way to make either reel better or worse, they will both perform very well.

The Helix30T blank utilizes the latest in 30 Tonne Toray and precise carbon wrapping construction. This process achieves increased sensitivity, strength and blank responsiveness, giving the angler a better fishing experience.  Finished with Fuji Alconite K guides and Fuji GM winch mount.

A Slow Jigging and Heavy Baitcasting reel with power and value the Lexa line-up welcomes a new arrival with the 21 Lexa TW. A step forward in design and performance the new Lexa features many of the technologies that have made Daiwa baitcaster reels industry leading with CRBB Bearings, EVA Knob, UTD Drag, and now TWS (T-Wing System) leading the roll call of design features.

TWS delivers a new level of performance and control to the Lexa, while a stainless-steel pinion gear, high grade brass gears, aluminium frame and side plate, and Swept Power Handle provide ultimate strength and power.

The 21 Lexa TW features 13kg of drag, 8 CRBB and is available in two sizes (300 and 400) and four models. Whether it’s targeting the giants of the estuaries or muscling offshore species the 21 Lexa TW is the ultimate heavy-duty baitcaster.
