Designed for jigging sabiki rigs when gathering bait, with the design allowing the rig to be wound inside the rod to minimise snagging and tangling when not in use, the Okuma Sabiki 7ft3 20lbs 2pc rod has been designed to be tucked away under the gunnel or cabin when not in use to minimise rods out in the open. The Sabiki rod is perfect for shorter length jigs with small to medium sized hooks. The combo comes with the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur ; featuring a level wind system allowing for east retireve without having to lay the line. This combo is spooled with multicolour braid so you can keep track of where your sabiki is in the water column .

Weighing in at just 316grams, the Ambassadeur SX has a frame that is crafted of machined aluminum and a compact bent handle and star that brings the anglers hands closer to the action. Providing a more comfortable fit when rod and reel are in hand.

With the multi disk drag system the Ambassadeur SX gives anglers a smooth, consistent reel that holds drag pressure across the entire drag range.

The synchronized level wind system improves overall line lay and castability, giving anglers a solid casting reel.

Other features include three stainless steel bearings plus one roller bearing, six pin centrifugal brake system and soft touch handles for a more comfortable grip.

The ergonomic, compact design of the Ambassadeur SX is available in a 5.3:1 gear ratio. The 5.3:1 gear ratio retrieve 62.5cm per turn.

Please note, this model is designed for inshore and harbour Sabiki's so you will not get big offshore Sabiki Jigs into it Ottos recommends the Okuma Blue or the Daiwa Sabiki Rods for bigger jigs. 

Designed for jigging sabiki rigs when gathering bait, with the design allowing the rig to be wound inside the rod to minimise snagging and tangling when not in use, the Okuma Sabiki UTG rod has been designed from the ground up to overcome the shortcomings of other sabiki rods that have been pointed out to Okuma by frustrated anglers.

A slight increase in length allows more brands of jigs to be wound completely inside the rod, while the slimmer design increases the action of the rod and in turn the fish catching action of the jig.

Designed to be used with either spin or overhead reels, the Sabiki UTG is a two piece design for easy storage, with a butt join rather than the traditional join above the bottom line guide that can make line feeding difficult and cause snagging of swivels on sabiki jigs. The tip of the Sabiki UTG is also uniquely designed to remove the snagging that occurs both on the outside of the tip and internally where the tip joins the rod blank on traditional sabiki rods.
