You'll be able to throw stickbaits and poppers on this combo although we chose the Certate 14000 XH to pair the Saltiga rod in order to create a combo which accomodates slightly further towards popping. We like the Certate for popping as it a bit lighter than other reels in its price range and has a fast gear ratio so you can stay in contact with your popper.
