Even though this setup is rated to 20lbs Daiwa J-Braid is extremely strong and paired with the grunt of the ShoreGun Evolv and power of the 4000 Saltiga you'll be confident fighting large unexpected by-catch such as Longtail Tuna or large Kingfish and Mulloway. The rod comes in at 10ft3 and will cast jigs out a mile, the length is optimal for shorejigging and means that you can use it fishing both in the Harbour and off of ocean rocks.
