Shimano Caius and Catana Baitcast Combo
This is an affordable baitcasting combo best suited to medium light estuary fishing for species such as Barramundi, Jew, large Flathead, Threadfin Salmon and Trevally. The Caius 150 feels small in the hand and is easy to fish with over long periods of time. It has a solid drag system for when you hook larger fish and VBS breaking system which reduces backlash. The Catana baitcat rods are built on a graphite blank, it is very responsive with a fast taper making it the ideal rod for lure fishing.

An exciting member of the affordable price range of low profile baitcasters is the C150. The Caius certainly looks the goods, but also delivers on performance. With three stainless steel bearings plus one roller bearing, VBS Braking System and Super Free Spool, casting is effortless and uncomplicated. An upgraded gear ratio of gear ratio of 7.2:1 will really get those lures flying.
The Shimano Caius 150HGB has 3+1 Bearings (3 Stainless steel ball and 1 roller), a 5kg Max star drag capacity, 7.2:1 Gear ratio to get those lures moving which gives you 72cm of retrieve per crank and the VBS braking system combined with super free spool gives effortless and uncomplicated free casting. And of course Shimano Australia's 10 year warranty.
The Shimano Caius 150HGB has a Line capacity of 110 meters of 12lb mono or 150 yds of 20lb Power Pro braid that makes it perfectly suited for fish species such as your Yellow belly, Cod, Trout etc.
