SHIMANO TCURVE BAITCAST FISHING ROD

A redesigned and upgraded series of an iconic Aussie favourite, the new 2020 TCurve series is here with 13 specially designed models to suit an array of fishing styles and techniques all throughout Australia. The blank technology features Shimano’s TC4 construction, which makes this rod extremely durable when fighting, as well as super sensitive when flicking those light lures. The guides are premium Fuji Faz Lite K frames, which promote long accurate tangle free casts. Now featuring a sleek grey blank with slightly darker binding to add a modern feel. The butt of the rods features a mix of custom shaped EVA and cork, split grip, butt sections with a premium Fuji reel seat.

SHIMANO CALCUTTA B 

The Shimano Calcutta B has been a longstanding member of Shimano’s baitcaster reels since Shimano hit the Australian market back in the late 80’s. The range has seen some modifications in recent times and now features a strong cold forged body and frame. This traditional series also features a multi disc carbon drag which dissipates heat in the drag evenly and exerts very high drag pressures. Each model also has an anodised body and spool so they are more resistant to the daily stresses of saltwater use. They also have a larger style handle with rubberised grips, Super Stopper, Assist Stopper, and run smoothly on three of Shimano’s patented A-RB Bearings plus one roller bearing. These reels have been catching fish in Australia for over 20 years and are set to do so for another 20 more.
