Shimano Citica and Abu Garcia PLX Elite Baitcast Combo

This baitcast combo is very versatile and can be used casting hardbodies into snags for Barramundi, dropping vibes for Jewfish, throwing topwater lures for Trevally and using large plastics and swimbaits for Flathead and Mangrove Jack. The Citica is well sealed and can handle saltwater use, it also has a small profile and is comfortable in the hand. Abu Garcia PLX Elite rods are lightweight and have a strong backbone which will help you steer larger fish away from structure, additionally the PLX Elite range has a fast taper which makes the rod more responsive which is ideal for lure fishing. The combo is spooled with Shimano PowerPro a strong and abrasion resistant braid with good knot tying properties for the beginner angler. These 7ft models used in this specific combo is ideal for both boat and landbased fishing, this rod will give you advantages when casting long distances into gutters and snags as your boat can be situated further from the bank.

There are three Citicas to choose from — the CI200I with a gear ratio of 6.3:1, and then the choice of high gear left or right-handed versions with ratios of 7.2:1. The SVS Infinity Casting System delivers precise braking range, the S3D Stable Spool Design features uniform thin wall construction that reduces spool vibration, and there are 5 SA-RB bearings and 1 roller bearing to make the winding experience even sweeter.
