We picked the Shimano Sedona and Wilson Blade N Tails as a combo for a few reasons, firstly their affordable pricepoint, secondly the quality of these combos especially in relation to how much they cost is incredible. The 2023 Sedonas are very smooth reels and have a great drag system, additionally for how light they are the Shimano Sedonas feel rigid as anything under pressure. Similary with the Blade N Tails the rods are lightweight and responsive and punch above their price range. The final reason why we chose the Sedona and Blade N Tails combos was because they feel so nice and well balanced in the hand, it is important to have a balanced combo as it improves casting, comfort and is optimal for fighting fish. You also cant fault the Shimano 10 year warranty!

Bream Live Fibre 6ft8 4-8lbs Sedona 2500

These lighter rods make for the ideal Bream rods, they have a fast taper and soft, responsive tip sections which means they will work vibes and soft plastics beautifully. 150yd 8lbs braid

Snapper Live Fibre 7ft 20lbs, Sedona 4000

The heavier Live Fibre rods are great if you want to cast soft plastics for Snapper, they have a quick taper which means you can bomb out a lightly weighted plastic into the wash or a 1oz jighead down into 50 meters of water. 300yd 20lbs braid

Ultra Light Live Fibre 6ft10 4-8lbs, Sedona 1000

This ultra light combo is perfect for finesse fishing, youll be able to chase anything from Trout in the streams to Bream, Flathead and Whiting on small surface lures over the sandflats. 150yd 5lbs braid

Mulloway Live Fibre 6ft8 12lbs, Sedona 3000

If you want to chase Mulloway off of the land or boat this combo is perfect for you. The rod is the perfect blend of finesse and power required for a Jewfish combo, youll be able to down your leader and drop little lures such as 70mm soft vibes to get picky fish to eat. Simultaneously youll also be able to put the brakes on larger Jew, given you have appropriate hooks and leader. 150yd 12lbs braid

Kingfish Live Fibre 7ft 30lbs, Sedona 5000

The heaviest combo in this range, Wilsons 7ft 30lbs Live Fibre is a monster, youll be shocked by how much pressure the rod can take. The strong backbone means you will have no issue locking up on decent sized Kingfish. This combo will be versatile offshore and it could double as a heavy Snapper rod or a rod to cast at feeding Longtail and Mac Tuna. 300yd 30lbs braid
